In the 16th century, this building actually belonged to King Henry IV of France. At the time it was a hunting lodge surrounded by a vast forest on the outskirts of the city. It is a historical jewel, featuring many architectural details from the 19th century, at which time it became a hotel.<\/p>\n

In that period, the surrounding area was already asserting its urban identity, its residential character infused with cultural and festive life. The Roaring Twenties\u2019 pursuit of leisure is reflected in the hotel’s decor, signed by Yann Le Coadic, decorator, and Alessandro Scotto, interior designer.
